Leather Kits for the I30 01-04

I'm looking for a company that can supply me a leather interior kit? (I know about katskinz, leatherseats.com. Looking for advice other than the norm.)

My drivers side bolster is starting to wear out. What have you guys done to repair this?
Can I just get the one seat repaired? Anybody have a idea of price?

I'm looking for any information, prices, pics, anything?

Thanks!

Here is some pics:

I'd be interested in this as well. Mine is starting to wear in the exact same area as yours. The leather on the edges of the seat seems to be more prone to cracking/wear than the rest. I bought one of those $20 autozone kits, but it was difficult to get the color/texture to match up right. Seems like using a professional is the way to go.

My seats are nasty themselves. Put up a quote of what a professional would charge.

I vote looking for a professional auto upholstery/trim shop as well. I got a quote to have part of the driver seat bottom and the center arm rest recovered for $150, but almost sure I could have made a better deal if I would have looked around more... that was just someplace I drove by so I thought I'd stop and ask.

Those shops are cheaper than you think they are, and do great work. I had some work done to the seats in my Jeep and really pleased with the outcome for only a little cash.

BTW - Most of these shops seem (in my experience) to be in the more industrial parts of town so you might have to go looking for them. Most of them will have pictures of show cars / hot rods they've covered, so you can see pictures of their work.

I've always been impressed with the skill/craftmanship shown for the little amount charged.

Good luck in finding a place close to you.

Let me know what they quote you..I'm planning on getting this done, and some dents and scratches in the spring. Just to get a ballpark idea...Thanks!

I just found a guy that lives in my neighborhood, literally down the street out of his house. Crazy!!

Thanks for the input!

I know the professionals are around. I wanted to see if anyone got it done and what it cost?

I'm going to get a quote and post it up when I do....If anybody gets a quote also...post up so we can all get a idea on repair costs. That would be super helpful! Thanks guys!

not quite the answer you're looking for, but my I30 seats had the same issue. bought a newer set from an I35 with front and rear heat. paid around 350 with shipping and sold my old set (non heated, perfect back seat) for 150. however, my interior is black which is easier to find a good used seat than beige. i have been looking for beige seats for an ES300 and the lighter color shows more wear, obvioulsy.
