It gets bolted the the bellmouth on the cold air intake side. The 5th gen MAF does not cooperate on the charge side of the piping like the 4th gen MAF does. So in this case you have to use a recirculation valve, so all the air gets metered.

ok, so i need a reciculation valve to make it work? is that included in the pipe kit your selling? i was thinkin about purchasing a SC kit from a 4th gen but now it seems like i need more info. i also wanted to use a BOV is that possible with this piping?

Your MAF won't allow you to use a BOV, not the pipes.
Let me explain the 4th gen a the 5th gen have two different MAF designs. The 4th gen works well on the charge side (after the blower before the throttle body). The 5th gen Maf does not like to be on the charge side so stillen designed it to be on the cold air intake side. So on the 4th gen you can use a BOV before the MAF because its on the charge pipe unlike the 5th gen being on the intake pipe. On a 5th gen you can't use a BOV you have to go the way the 5th gen system was designed and MUST use the Bosch Recirculation valve to keep the air that has been metered by the MAF in the system, you have no other choice. If you used a BOV on the 5th gen MAF it would have many problems because you would be venting metered air straight to atmosphere. If you keep it the way stillen designed it for the 5th gen you will have no problems. You are not getting less power by using a recirculation valve over a BOV.

And yes the 5th gen pipes l am selling include everything to install your blower on a 5th gen. So if you bought a 4th gen kit you would need these parts to make it work. $240 Shipped

Almost New K&N Filter
Bellmouth ( that bolts to your 5th gen MAF) and bracket that bolts the bellmouth to frame.
2 Bosch recirculation valves
Cold air intake pipe
The original 90's that connect the pipes to the blower.
Charge air pipe
Vibrant silicone coupling to connect charge pipe to throttle body and T-Bolts

The red thing to the left of the filter is the hydrosock. Will you sell just that?

Will it fit your filter ? It is filter specific, dimension wise l mean. I can sell it all to you for $30 shipped filter and pre-filter both of them cost me $80 bucks a few years ago. And it is in very good shape only used it for a few months.

How does $18 sound, then l will get a whole $10 for the time it takes me to ship and wrap. It would be more of a favor to you, than any real benefit for me.
