I'm selling my 1998 Nissan Maxima SE. The reason I'm selling it is because I want another maxima, but with a 6-speed manual transmission. I treat her like a good car owner should. Its a GREAT daily driver, and when you step on it, it instantly becomes a sports car. Enough about me, more about the car...

Engine: VQ30DE (6 cylinder 190 HP)
Transmission: 4-speed automatic with overdrive
Options: Heated leather seats, Power seats/window, BOSE sound system, ABS brakes, Automatic climate control, Fog lights, Stock SE spoiler, Auto-start, HID headlights.

The Interior is flawless! The leather is a solid 10/10. No rips/tears/scuffs or nothing. The front seats, including passenger, are automatic. The BOSE system sounds crisp and beautiful. Its VERY spaceous in the back(soo easy to fall asleep in). All carpet, except the driver floor matt, is clean and stain-free. And as in all maxima's, the trunk is accessible from the rear seat fold-down.


MODS:

• MEGAN racing catback exhaust ($300)
• Warpspeed Y-Pipe ($275)
• Magnaflow Hi-flow catalytic converter ($25)
• Injen Cold Air Intake ($275)
• Stillen Front Strut Bar($150)
• Paradox Rear Strut Bar(unsure)

EXTERIOR MODS:

• Lamin-x film; tint on the headlights/foglights ($60)
• HID ballast kit- ($100)
• Window tint (35%front/20%rear)($300in labor)
• Independant fog light rewire

All of these modifications give the car a cleaner look, better handling, and a great, throaty grumble. A catback exhaust easily turns heads. You cant go wrong with this car. As previously stated, I'm selling this for another Maxima because its such a great car. It's whatever you make of it. Easily mistaken for a slow, normal car.

THE BAD:

• There is a rectangular ding on the right front bumper( about the size of an ipod nano) which exposed black plastic. It was like this when I got the car, but it the ONLY very noticable scratch/dent/ding on the car.
• As I work in a store in the middle of a shopping center, the car has seen a few scuffs here and there. A bit of rubbing compound can take these out.

THE GOOD:

• As previously stated, the interior is flawless. No stains, rips, tears, or ANYTHING taking away from the beautiful 4th gen interior.
• NO lights on the dash. This car is in PERFECT running shape.
• The exterior is a very solid 8.9999/10. She would get a wash/wax every weekend during the summer by myself, and now she gets a professional wash once every Friday.
• I ALWAYS get compliments on how she looks/sounds. The gray headlight tint paired with the yellow fog light tint and the Sterling Mist is incredibly eye catching.

This car is suitable for a daily driver, a family car, a first car, or a performance car. The car has great street manners until you want to unleash its true power.

PRICE:
I'm looking for $3800 firm, BUT I will trade for a 5.5gen 6speed plus cash on my end. The KBB alone is $4,470. No low-ballers please. I'm in no rush to get rid of the car as I enjoy it to the fullest. It is my daily driver, so I put about 20 miles at most on her a day. This car treats me good, so I hope I can find a respectful new owner for her. This would be a great car for a maxima enthusiast, or for a first car.
