Best way to clean engine bay without hurting anything

What's up guys/gals was wondering what's the best way to clean an engine bay without hurting the motor or electrical? I haven't seen a thread in the detail forum so if I missed it I'm sorry mods can move this, thanks for any help

Nope I didn't lol an I said sorry if i missed it I'm at work an on my phone so it's hard sometimes to search thru post an wait for it to load

i ended up not powerwashing, still paranoid after what happened to Jassics and others. all i did was last summer i got some degreaser and a toothbrush and just took 5-6 hours and scrubbed everything and afterwards wiped off where i cleaned with a wet rag, worked fine

yeah, i think with my projectors im gonna go this route. dont want water all up in maxy messin $hit up!!!!

ima just pull my headlights...thats the only thing im concerned about now. other than that...engine bay parts...it wont hurt them to spray them w/ degreaser then water. cant speak on pressure washing though thats like forcing water into crevices
