My original sig pic

Here's my sig pic before I shrunk it down and put Gamezilla in it. It's too big to post on the server.

My original sig pic

That's half the size it originaly was. My hand looks kinda funny cause it was tensed up. Check out my speed, though.

What does the SE wheel look like? I thought they were all the same. If the SE wheel looks much better, I'll spend anywhere up to $50 to get one. Someone post a pic.

yea but you cant put an airbag wheel on a non airbag max.. at least i dont think so.. so the wheel i got is pretty much the only other option.

My mad Photoshop skills at work!

Hahaha, you guys must be joking. Can't you tell I photoshoped it? That's why the RPM's are that low. I intentionally did that cause I wanted to see if someone would catch on that. Seems someone did. I work on yearbook staff as the graphic artist. I sit around all day working with Photoshop and Illustrator. I've learened how to do some pretty neat ****. Unfortunately, this is pretty weak compared to some of the stuff I can do. And no, that's not in Canada, that's in Texas. That's why it's not snowing, yet christmas lights are out (that's what those yellow strips are). The gauges are black with white lettering. Personally, I hate that. I'd rather have the SE cluster with white with black lettering.

Oh, and I had just come out of a turn onto my block. That's why the steering wheel is turned. On a strait away the steering is perfectly aligned.

Now, can anyone guess my true speed? Also, I'll point out 2 small glitches that I didn't notice until now. On the cloth beam going up the left side of my windsheild, you should notice 2 white marks: one in the middle, and one at the bottom. It took me about 10min to make this and I wasn't very carefull. The blur was an effect.

Re: Re: My mad Photoshop skills at work!

Hell, I hate my GXE. My mom treated that car like **** and it shows. The only thing I've made look any decent is the front interior. God, if you saw the paint and how many scratches and nicks and marks, you'd be ashamed just to have witnessed such a sight. Just wait until I post a pic of the hood. Then you can see why I really refer to my car as such a piece of crap. Problem is, I keep the car PERFECT, I'm left with all the mistakes my mom made. And hell, if I had the money and the chance, I'd go grab myself a 92-94 SE before you can blink.

In fact, I think I'm gonna go take a pic of the hood tommarow. God, it's a car enthusiasts worst nightmare. The whole car just needs a new paint job. I don't have the money, the need, or the reason to do it, though. I'm gonna lose this car to my sis in August. She'll just end up wreckin it anyway.

ACK!!! Oh geez I hate the StarTrek steering wheels!! lol. Here's what a real steering wheel looks like (mine):

Ah, I got the best of the best. Nice steering wheel, white face gauges, black on black interior. Tweed seats (which in fact I dont know of anyone else with factory tweed other than myself). Life is good.

Now it's just a matter of me finding an SE steering wheel. For all those who have swaped out your GXE wheel for a SE wheel, where'd you get yours and how much? I'll try searching online, but it's hard to find someone parting out the steering wheel on a non-airbag SE. You can't buy them from courtasy nissan can you?

got my SE wheel and gauges for free from a junked Maxima at my frined's uncle's auto shop. but I'm sure most junkyards will have them, try to find a "pull-it-yourself" junkyard and go pop it off, also ask if you can just swap the wheels(GXE for SE).....

The nearest junkyard is nearly an hours drive from here and I don't even know if they have any 3rd gen maxima's (just know of it's existance and general location). Nobody answered my original question: Could I be able to back-order one from courtesy nissan? It may be more expensive, but it would be brand new.

Any Nissan dealer can order one if the part is still available, most likely via Japan. Courtesy will probably be cheaper but its going to be an extremely expensive part to buy new either way.

Do some phoning around first to junkyards. From what I gather it seems there are a lot more Maximas (proportionally) in the US than here, and even I can find them! They probably don't know the difference between SE and GXE though so ask if they have "...the one with the foglamps and spoiler."

I found one in Houston that has a couple 3rd gen maxima's (not sure if SE or GXE). Unfortunately, it's in the city in one of the worst places in town. My dad said not to go there unless I have some type of automatic weapon. He also said that I may go get the steering wheel and come back to find I no longer have a car to put it on. There's some up north of me, but I'm not gonna call them. Next time I'm in Dallas, up by my uncle, I'll just drop by and take whatever I think looks cool off whatever car I can find. Unfortunately, by then I'll have my hands on my friends 2k1 GLE and will no longer need an SE steering wheel. I guess I'm stuck with what I've got unless someone on ebay or the org decides to part out their max.
