UT FS: 1998 Maxima w/some mods, automatic, $3000
FS: 1998 Maxima w/some mods, automatic, $3000
Hey everybody. I'm considering selling my 1998 Nissan Maxima. I'm located in Salt Lake City, UT. It's an automatic GXE, but I upgraded the interior to tan leather with power seats from glenmoormax's car when he put in a full black leather interior. Asking $3000 OBO, blue book is almost $3500 for this car.
It has almost 210,000 miles, ive had it since 2006 when I bought it with 120K on it. Great car, never has broken down on me or let me down AT ALL. I've done a few things here & there:
Interior:
GLE Full Interior Leather Swap, w/power seats. Drivers seat has a few small tears in it, one is ducktaped, but it's not very noticeable.
Added electronic beeper to factory alarm (like new vehicles) that sounds when doors are locked.
Added shock sensor to factory alarm - adjustable sensistivity, works GREAT
ptatohed's (maxima.org) rear seat fold up mod
Added DynoMatting and custom noise supression materials to rear deck and behind rear seat
Added anti-squeak tape to all front dash panels
Audio:
Kenwood MP-7028 auto slide/graphics CD Receiver w/iPod Interface
(1) 1000w Amp
(1) Phoenix Digital 1.2 Farad Capacitor
(1) MTX Thunder4500 10 inch Subwoofers
(4) Pioneer TS-A1681 4-Way 6.5in Speakers
Single 10" Sub Box
System sounds great, the deck is GREAT. Front & Rear adjustable filters & sub filter & level control. Charges and controls iPod (except new iPod touch for some reason)
Exterior:
50% Front Tint, 15% rear tint
Debadged, De-ugly-pinstriped
AE'd Headlights - basically painted black headlight surround
DTM Smoked Tails - removed amber's, painted interior black
DC Bumper Lights
HELLA ff50 driving lights
Chrome Exhaust Tip
Suspension/Wheels/Tires:
Front Strut Tower Brace
Tokico HP (Blues) Shocks + Tein H-Tech Springs - lowers the car about 1.25 in front and 1 inch rear, looks great! 4th Gen maxima's have way too much wheel gap
2002 Maxima 17's w/BRAND NEW 235/45/17 Sumitomo Tires - just put on a couple weeks ago
I also have the original 15 inch steelies, which I've used for my winter setup
Mechanical:
Weapon-R Dragon Intake - Replaced cone filter in January
Engine Grounding Kit
WarpSpeed Performance 2.5in Mandrel Bent Y-Pipe
R-Axles (left and right)
Stock Catback
I had a Flowmaster DeltaFlow 40 Series Muffler on it, made a great low throaty growl, but I took it off because I was getting annoyed with the drone inside the car. I still have the muffler, if the buyer would like it.
Other than that, the car has been VERY well taken care of. I've done all the oil changes since I bought it, every 4000 miles, tires always rotated every 8000 or so. I've recently cleaned the intake, and put new plugs in. Tranny shifts very smoothly every time, motor runs perfectly smoothly.
The car will be sold without the Yakima Rack, but I will throw in the tower mounts, because I'm planning on getting a WRX Wagon, and I don't need them anymore. I'll also take all the stickers off.
This is my ONLY vehicle, I'm the market for a Subie WRX Wagon with around 100K on it, if anybody wants to trade, lol.
PM Me for more info and/or more pictures:
