Huh!?! Which bulb? I can't make out what your trying to ask for? Are you talking about the map light? Or the dome light?

Dude, it's for a 02 i35. Not a 96 i30...and I don't see anything about a map light in that list o bulb numbers. It's a BA9

I bought BA9S and for reason they didn't work. I tried two different LED bulbs. You think may be LED is not compatible for the map lights?

Could be.....I would just buy a led square and wire that in. The bulb replacement's dont seem to fit snug. (from my experience)

True, but I don't really want to splice wires just for a led bulb
Do you know any place may be where I could buy whiter bulbs without them been LED?

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but has anyone gotten a BA9 LED bulb to work? I ordered this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BA9S-53-57-1...#ht_3266wt_902 but it didn't work. But the stock bulb lit up just fine still

Thanks! I think my friend is gonna try to play around with the bulb I ordered (cost $1.35 so it wouldn't be a big loss) to see if it will work. Otherwise I guess I'll have to search around for a bulb that is already reverse wired

EDIT: Ended up just taking the whole panel out where the map light is, cutting the wires there for the light, switch two around, having them soldered, and now the bulb works as it should. I did think it would be brighter though.....

You can buy from http://www.superbrightleds.com/search/led-products/ba9/. Most of their products are not polarity sensitive. In the product description look for the "Polarity Sensitive NO" label.
