Poll : Is your Maxima garage-kept or not ?

I was just curious to know how many people here keep their Maximas garaged kept or just under the sky.I had to move out from my previous apartment complex to another crappy one without covered parking spots availabe . Now I am sad to see my Maxima under the rain and the repeated thunder warnings in the area
I guess I have to live with it for now .

thanks

I haven't parked a car outdoors in 20 years. Even when I was renting... a garage was a priority.

It looks like the OP is playing with polling threads. Not a whole lot of purpose going on here.

And that assumption came from where ? If you don't care about this issue , many others do , and I am one of them .... I respect you Rochester and forgive me if I say keep this "look" to yourself....

P.S.
Amongest the maxima enthusiasts , many have so cool and nice cars and wonder how can they keep them shiny and clean , and away from kids , bicycles ..etc... one of the points of this poll..

And about "Not a whole lot of purpose going on here." I say do you think alot of purpose is going on when the talk is about the exhaust sound being rispy or being harsh lol ? or alot of purpose when talking about converting a FWD maxima to a RWD , 5.6L , or a trunk emblems to shave or not to shave ? .... Come on

My car sits in all the elements.

ALL OF THEM.

To the guy who waxes his car every week: Why? Adding wax on a layer of wax on a layer of wax isn't going to make the car look any better. Once a month is good enough.

Your max is a pansy if it sleeps inside.

We have an abnormally large amount of cars and trucks in our yard, so which ever one needs work is the one in the garage. My Max has never spent a night in there! It stays out in the rain, heat and snow.

That's it!

No, in reality I'm just bitter that my garage is detached and unheated.

It's so blurry... is that a Maxima in that photo?

Here's some good garage advice. Never rest anything on the walls of the garage that's higher than the car. I learned that lesson the hard way last summer, when I dropped a small spray can on the door edge. It wasn't heavy, but it hit with full weight on the rim of the can and actually dented the car. Damn embarrassment cost me $100 at the Ding Doctor.

You never feel quite so stupid as when you ding your own car. Particularly when you're going for that ding-free look.

I have a garage but very rarely park the car in there unless I am trying to get out of the elements to do some work on it.

Bit of a silly poll, but I'm happy to say that my car spends it's off time in the garage.

I wish she was garaged, but she is daily driven and exposed to the elements. Waxed once a month, washed and Meg. Quik Waxed every 3-5 days.

I kept my 5thgen outside while I had it.. The 350z stays inside the garage.. safe and sound.. away from those damn cats jumping off the fence onto the cars..

I would go out the next morning to find cat prints all over the hood... Sometimes I would hear a loud thump at night time.. First time I heard it, I thought someone was trying to break into my car... Looked and saw a fatazz cat :P

even after i'm done with the z, since it's only a weekend car, it will stay there most of the time

When I used to stay in my apartment in NJ sometimes would come home late and no parking was available so I parked next to the fence under the trees so I would not have to walk all the way across the complex to my door. Man, I Woke up the next morning birds must have had diarrhea...because car was COVERED in bird crap , I think every bird in NJ got in on that one....it was so bad it was even on the door handles! I NEVER parked there again!!

the only reason i do this is because i have access to all the stuff i need. it only takes about 30-45 min to do. i live by the beach and have alot of salt spray all the time from the water. it makes me feel better to know that my paint wont get fubared from all the elements.

Max gets parked out on the street. The garage is too full of MGA, quads, tools stuff my in-laws won't get rid of, car/truck parts I won't get rid of and I think there is a dead cat in there somewhere.
