when i bought a fender for my 02 max the person needed to confirm it was a 2002 and not an 00 01 how is the fender diffrent? i cant find a difference. also why do they claim the headlight form a 2000 fits a 2002 if the fender and bumper is diffrent?

 

they are the same. and the headlights can swap....but i think a harness is needed for the HI/LOW beams b/c they are separated for the 02/03(5.5 Generation).

 

Fender is the same. Bumper is different.

Confirmed, if you have an 00-01 and install the 02-03 headlights, you will need the wire conversion harness. But this is not applicable for this particular thread. Why would an 02-03 owner downgrade to an 00-01 headlight?
