whats the point of these?
how do they benefit your car?

is it okay/better to remove the stuff that is attached to that plate stock?

 

this block plate covers the hole left when you remove the restictive butter fly valve on the manifold. it gives more high end hp

some models will have the reusable metal gasket but i still recommend using the rtv in place of it

Damn that's cheap, after adding in the price of materials and time I would buy it rather than make it myself

 

plus the plates are painted in high temp 500* enamel which makes them look great!!!

 

Only if it's preped well so you don't suck paint chips through the intake.

 

plates are sanded using 80 grit , washed , sanded again using 150 grit washed , 2 coats of aluminum primer and then 2 coats of paint.

For those of you 5.5 gen guys looking at this... I installed mine last night and got a noticeable difference immediately. Even an increase in mpg when taking it easy. and a noticeable step up when you get on it.

Whats it made out of? Before i buy this

 

these plates are made out of 1/4" aluminum and painted with 500 degree flat black engine enamel which makes them look great
