Xenon or not to Xenon?

I just got a new Sony Digital camera and now I can post new pics My Xenon bulb burned out the other night so I put the stocker back in and noticed that at a lower wattage, the area of light seems to be more than my double wattage Xenon. fo those of you who have xenons, what do you think about the xenon lighting? Would it be better to have lower wattage xenon bulbs? Thanks!

The pics that have links for are not full pics, they are cut off before all the car and any of the car is visible. Might want to check that out.

They are 1600x1200, my windows resizes the pictures automatically...I will see if I can resize them for ya.

They aren't real Xenon's though, right? I think actual Xenon bulbs are more expensive and somewhere between stock and HID. Though, they always call those stupid cheap overwattage bulbs Xenon (already blown out 2 pairs of that crap). Is that true guys? I'm just not completely sure on the subject. All I know is I want HID!

nice set up...don't you HATE that companies can't make decks all the same size ;p i had that prob too.

xenons and other bulbs get away with the "MORE LIGHT" labels by focusing the light more sharply in diferent spot...you can't in reality create "100w of light from a 50w bulb", they can focus say..a light that oringall covered a horintal legth of 100ft into a area of 50ft instead, but focus the light in one spot...this spot is measured to have the light of "100w". no doubt xenos look cool, but the whiter.bluer they are, the less light ytou'll have when it rains or there is water on the roadway.

if you want LIGHT, but that non-yellow halogen look, get the cool blues (hehe i sell em too ;p).
