Finally bought a OBDII scanner for my phone

I've been looking for one of those apps for my phone that lets u run OBD diagnostics, and reset the codes on the car...

while doing my research I found this app called OBD DroidScan that was mentioned by a friend... apparently the guys who made it are LSx tuners, and most of work was done on LS engines.... it was 3 bucks, so I said let's try it

well the dongle came in today, and this thing is real cool... I've been messing around with it today and it's neat... I pulled couple wires out on the car to see the codes etc and it read them all. gives you some nice info like timing, fuel trims, etc etc...

I wanted to mention it to you guys because I'm sure at least one of two people will benefit from something like this.

I made a review of it on youtube, and emailed it to the dev, he corrected me on a few things which I notated on the yt video, but yeah...

if you're looking for something like this, you should try it out. pretty cool stuff

**I'm not affiliated with this product and I love cool gadgety apps, this app and shooter for my rifle ballistic calculations are my 2 fav apps so far lol***

Youtube review vid I made for you guys and others

Any ELM327 dongle should work. I have the same one the OP has. There are a ton of them on ebay. Most are from overseas though. I went with a US vendor. Cost more but i got it in three days vs three weeks and if there was a problem with it i could return it for a replacement or refund quickly.

The picture of the product has a blue background instead of an orange one. Mine is v1.4 just as the one in the link except orange. US seller FTW.
