All Y-pipes give good performance.

Non-mandrel bent are the cheapest, but the air flow isn't as good as the mandrel bent. But for the price range your looking at then this is your best option.

Where do you have to worry about rust?

It's like every few weeks on this board there is a "Y-Pipe Manufacturer of the month" or something.

This month it's Warpspeed hands down.

Since you're dealing with $200-$300 youve only got 2 choices anyway, although some exhaust shops will build you a Y-Pipe for between $150 and $200.

Well up north they got snow, ice, salt, ect. Here we got heat, heat and more heat.

Just a note - Lots have had fitment issues with Cattman pipes, but minimal with Warpspeed, not to flame or anything cuzz Cattman's material quality can't be beat.

I thought I had a fitment problem myself but you first install the center part of the Y pipe and then work your way towards the front part and pull or push and bam all 3 holes will line up and just put on the nuts. The fitment is da..m nearly perfect I dont really consider that a fitment problem just got to know what you are doing, lucky one of the Master Mechanics at the shop was there to let me know at least that much.

Warpspeeds are pretty good! There isn't a huge diff between Mandrel and non-Mandrel (experience from several people incl exhaust places) on the Maxima (probably 1-3 HP max).

Budget does 304 SS (non-mandrel) for $175 shipped
WSP Aluminized for (Mandrel) $225 + shipping

Warpspeed has a much bigger choice of pipes:

Mandrel, non-mandrel, Aluminized Steel, Stainless-Steel....etc

Budget is good enough to start with I think...good value for money with very decent HP gains.

Cattman/Stillen??? Good but expensive. Take a look around on the forums!

They run about $400 + $20 for shipping straight from Cattman's web site. I was fortunate enough to get in on a CustomMaxima group deal which came to $390 shipped (I think) with a gasket set (very helpful).
