aftermarket ceramic brake pads = squeaky brakes

I bought these omni5 aftermarket ceramic pads as some of u know, the rears were installed just like the oem pads with one shim. the oem at the rear came with one shim and the after market ones came with one shim so no problems. no squeaks.

now the front, the oem pads came with two shims but the aftermarket pads came with one shim. So I just decided to use the one shim thinking it wouldn't make much difference.

but now it's squeaking bad in the front...u guys think it's because of the difference in shims or is it something else ?

yes I did put on the stop squeak grease between the pads and the caliper.

Did you break them in properly? Did you switch up the front and rear pads?
