Navigation mod (need advice)

So now it's time for my next mod

I want to buy some navigation device and put it in the same place where i35 stock navigation is located.

But I am not sure how to do that, any recommendations?
I think I might have to find some type of rails so that the gps will pop out whenever I turn gps switch on. Or may be I need to find used navigation system and take out lcd screen and put there new navigation device?

Any suggestions?

Roberta32 has replaced the OEM monitor with an aftermarket one. is that what you mean? do you have OEM navi, or do you just want to install a Garmin, for example? the OEM navi screen has bulit in beackets that scew to the dash.

I don't have OEM navi, but I believe that even nonOEM Navi i35s have space there for navigation monitor. Thats why I wanted to get Garmin screen there. I don't want to spend money on OEM navi screen, rails etc. if all I need is the rails and probably the OEM deck.

completely not worth it, you would have to get all of the stuff (tracks, motor to move the screen, possibly a navi dash). Just get a nice double din with navi. You are talking about a **** ton of work for something that will not be used much. If you just want something to deliver pizza's with use your phone (assuming you have a smart phone like 95% of the US)

Yeah, you are right. I just thought it would look good, I like how i35 navi looks (screen goes up from dash). I use iPhone for maps, but even though I deliver pizza, I use it rarely.
