TPMS Sensor / Valve Stem

I recently had my TPMS sensor replaced on my '09 Maxima. A few weeks later i ended up getting a nail punctured in the tire and drove flat for awhile and ended up having to replace the tire. I can now see a crack on the valve stem and I have to fill my tires every 2days. I have two questions:

1. Is it possible to replace just the valve stem and not the whole sensor?

2. My lease is up in January, so I'm trying to spend as little as possible on this car. Can I swing it with a non-OEM sensor without having too much issues with the TPMS light?

I posted in the wheels & tires sections and unfortunately didn't get a response, so I was wondering if anyone here would know the answer.

TY

i have no idea if you can replace the stem but you should be able to find the whole sensor for like $40-$50 on ebay

That's what I figured. Are those ebay quotes for OEM sensors? Do you think the dealer will care if I bought a sensor not from them to be installed? Thanks for the info.

well i order senors for someone from time to time and thats what i usually pay for aftermarket ones. oem would probably be about 80. the dealer never gives them problems.
