Clicking from Brake Pedal Bracket

For the past 3000 miles I've been getting a clicking sound when stepping on the brakes. I've brought it to the dealer 3 times already for this problem. I'm not talking about the shift lock release click.

They first replaced the bracket that holds the brake pedal and it was ok for a day and then it started making clicks again. I just brought it in again and they gave me some BS about how it's normal and that it's the switch for either the brake lights or the cruise control. They said they couldn't find anything wrong with the brake system.

I'm not happy with that explanation though. The click sounds a lot more mechanical to me than electrical.

Any ideas what this might be?

Thanks.
