Bike Rack Hitch - 2010 Maxima

Looking for recommendations and pictures from anyone who has added a hitch to their 7th generation Maxima.

Never thought I would do this to this kind of car, but we recently sold our 4th gen Max which had bike and ski attachments on a roof rack. Earlier this year we purchased a fully loaded 2010 with the dual panel moonroof and decided we weren't gong to do a roof rack this time.

Instead, we decided to go with a hitch and hope to find something very inconspicuous.

ETrailer has three hitches for the 2010 Maxima on their site that look promising, but show more of the cross bar then we'd prefer.

So if you've got a 7th gen with a hitch mount, post some pics and tell me what we should get. Thanks!

Could Nissan void the CVT warranty if they see a hitch was installed? One of my major concerns about installing a hitch on the Maxima.

I doubt it. To hard to prove. Just becuase you have a hitch doesnt mean you will be hauling a boat.

I agree, but on the other hand Nissan could say prove that the hitch didn't cause the CVT to heat up and burn up... it could get ugly...

I'm just trying to avoid potential headaches, and want to gauge how likely this would be...
