Will 17" aftermarket rims fit on my 2011 maxima???

I'm looking for a set of winter rims for my 2011 maxima. A friend of mine has a set of 17" aftermarket rims with te right bolt pattern that he can give me that have no tires on them. I don't want to buy tires if the rims aren't going to fit on my car. Does anyone know if they would fit? Or do the rims have to be 18" or bigger? Any help is appreciated

Since he's your friend, why don't you just test fit them? I'm not sure if they'll clear the brakes but you might as well try.

Even if they are free, they're going to look absolutely retarded on your car. 18's look small as is, I don't even wanna imagine 17's.

Take them and flip them for some cash to buy some bigger wheels.

I'm not sure if he is willing to give them to me if he knows I'm just going to sell them. I guess I can ask him, worst he can say is no

Eh just tell him that you'll take em for the Max and if he ever asks "Oh, what ever happened to the wheels I gave you?" just tell him that they didn't fit and you sold em.

Well since he's giving them to you, take it, sell it, and make a profit out of it....... Don't put 17's on a Max. 18's are small enough for this car... Save up and get bigger and nicer wheels...
