I WAS THINKING ABOUT PUTTIN TOGETHER A MEET FOR THE NYC AREA PEOPLE AND WAS WONDERING WHO WOULD BE DOWN FOR A SAT OR SUNDAY GET TOGETHER AND STUFF , I WOULD ORGANIZE IT AND ALL JUST WANTED TO GET A LIL FEEDBACK THANKS ALL !

 

I am down! I could only do Friday though any time, Saturday (Passed 5PM) and Sunday (Passed 5pm). I work every weekend, but I really wanna get something going like you man.

 

sup guido yeah for sure we gotta do something but we gotta figure out when and where i see u work weekends and all but i think the best time would be the weekend but if after 5 works for you we can try to set things up for like 2 or what not and u can come thro when u get out , i wanna see about meeting up at place were we can have a lil charcoal grill and get busy, where you live man ?

Shoot, Lets meet up weekday and discuss this haha..Hit up a Dunkin Donuts or some ish. Im in the Glen Cove and Queens Area. So Nassau to Queens works for me. There is a nice park by St. John's University, with a big parking lot and public charcoal grills. I mean, the grills aren't near the parking lot, but its a start. There are plenty of lots that I know of though that we could just chill and meet up at though.

Yeah I agree, Sat and Sun are the best days for most of us, but unfortunately I work the weekends to pay for my whip, insurance, car mods, tickets, and lawyers haha. So, 2PM-7PM would be okay.

I know, I wanna see what other Maxi's been doing - There are some sick whips out there and the owner and uniqueness is just insane.

 

yeah daxg no prob anyone who wants can come its not gonna be an invite thing lol and guido i think i know the place your talking about off the l.i.e that big park, I'm in queens so I'm familiar with a few places and I'm D with the dunkin donut discussion obviously it will be better with more then just one persons input lemme know whats good and when and lets get the ball rolling , the weathers been permitting for such an event so far !

 

Yup, that's the park I am talking about I think. Yeah, Obviously, everyone who is interested should definitely input the following: Days Free, Location, Time Free, and any other contributing information.

As for Dunkin Donuts, maybe we could do a weekly small meet? The DD by Parsons has no parking lot and the DD by St. John's is a crash zone + a lot of police. I have a legit DD by me but its in Glen Cove. So, I am thinking we do a middle location where Nassau and Queens Meets - Like Manhasset?

Lets get this thing rollin though, I am surprised more people haven't commented yet. I am always down to chill with cool peeps granted they don't do anything stupid or get me killed.

 

There was a little maxima meet/get together at sonic yesterday but i guess none of you knew about it.

Suggesting a meet location isn't going to work very well. Everybody will wanna meet up as close to their homes as possible to avoid driving far.
OP you should pick a location and a set time and take it from there.

 

I'm down whenever... There is also the street behind Astoria park in queens that would be a good meeting place , back in the day my whole crew used to go out there and chill all night, back then we called it the strip.. It's literally right under the tri borough bridge and it's mad long so we can get alot of whips to fit there.

 

thats what im talkin about, ideas are starting to flow , the astoria strip is cool , im down whenever whatever i dont mind driving since i like to drive my whip around cuz i dont get that much driving in due to work ! whats up with a lil mini meet at dd's or whatever like guido was talkin about this week sometime (post the ideas up peeps )..

We are all from Long Island and Queens Area...Yes the Bestbuy meets were sick, lost a car there though, was a very sad moment, but those times were so much fun.

Yes the Best Buy meets in Westbury were good back in the day, same thing with Wednesday nights at Nathans in Oceanside... Im down for a Long Island meet ... By my house (Baldwin) there are Car Meets in the Best Buy/Wendy's Parking lot on tuesday nights and wednesday nights. We can do the meet there on a different night or we can set up a meet in the queens area.. I know Flushing Meadows park (off the LIE) is a good place for a meet, late spring/early summer on thursday nights there is a drift show..

 

^^Yeah, we were already thinking about Flushing Meadow park..Maybe we'll stop in on the Baldwin Meets, can I get a Time? and what type of rides.
