wtfff..engine immobilizer randomly activated..

soo i was doing the 3 cent fix for the sub on the 01 i30, where you stick cardboard/paper wrapped in electrical tape, finished and went to test it out..well i put my key in the ignition and its locked..wont turn at allll. The whole column is, wth do i do? is it timed or am i screwed? =\

Man turn your steering wheel left or right to take the tension off of it and try it again because that is not how the system works.

nevermind it works now thanks, i feel dumb, i didnt know the wheel had to be that way

ya what the guy said worked, its just i did that at first but must not have had it right enough.
