I am trying to figure out if/how these air vents can be removed.



Any ideas?

I have tried to take them out by taking a flat blade screwdriver covered in a cloth and prying up, but they don't really want to come out. I am afraid I might break one with the amount of pressure I was applying. It would come out a little but I then noticed the plastic starting to bend.

 

What do you have planned? A little painting or something ? If I was going to attept to remove them I whould try wedging a flat head screw driver in there.

 

 

if you cant get your hands on a shop manual, go to the nissan dealer and ask see if they have any extra in stock at the parts department. If you see the underside maybe you will be able to figure out how they come off. Or if they are cheap enough buy new ones and break the old ones off??

 

what for, man? u guys are taking "mods" too a whole new level or what

 

yeah I was planning on putting a fog machine in there so I can have that cool effect as I sit in parking lots waiting for junior high chicks to stop by ...





Seriously ... I just wanted to know. Yes I am planning on doing something with those, but hey we can just wait till I'm done to go into any details.
