Just bought a 02 maxima with 73k on it and didn't realize this until the other day. When I'm coming to a stop the rpm with drop to like 500rpm and bounce up and down for a couple seconds. The car doesn't shake/feel like its about to stall at all.

Is this a common problem with these cars and is it a simple fix?
