WTB: AC Compressor Working or Nonworking

I am in need of an AC compressor, I don't care if it keeps a charge or what year it is out of (as I think there is a difference between 95-96 and 97-99).

I specifically need it to have a good pulley as this is the second compressor I have gone though in 2 years and just want to get it fixed once and for all. I've been without AC for 3 years now so as long as the pulley doesnt make noise I want it.

Let me know what you have. Thanks in advance.

Matt

I have been in your shoes my friend and I know how you feel. I just ended up footing the bill and buying the clutch assembly OEM. Not going to lie, it was just under $250 which is pretty much the same price of a new one but I have two OEM compressors that I can just jump bearing and clutch if it was to go out.

You can replace the bearing in the pulley. Getting the clutch and pulley off is a real pain though. I'll check to see what I have for compressors.

Agreed. I've done it before and I think that putting it back on is the harder part. This is my second pulley/bearing (I replaced it last summer) and this one was off a junkyard compressor. Its definitely easier just to swap compressors considering I don't have or care about working AC.

I may be stripping my car of the entire AC system soon, let me know if you still need it.
