FS: BRAND NEW OE KNOCK SENSORS $40 shipped

ALL SOLD OUT; NONE LEFT. THANKS EVERYONE WHO BOUGHT.

These are brand new in boxes Delphi AS10148 original equipment knock sensors with the Nissan logo (i have over 30 of these) as manufactured by Delphi for Nissan. The parts are sold free from any defects and are guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition. They all spec out at around 550kohm on my meter. These are distributor closeouts and boxes are marked NR for non-retail (aka they're for wholesale) items. These are the actual OE part (as per Rockauto website) that they are now selling for $166 for their regular stock item or ~$90 for their wholesale closeout version. Parts are marked “UNISIA JAPAN “Nissan Logo Emblem” A53-600 M01 and a varying 4 digit number”. For $40.00, i'll ship usps small flat rate box to lower 48 states. PM me for payment details.

my ks review and special deal for first 3 that give their review also

the first three (3) people who post their impressions and give a review of my knock sensors will get a $10 refund. this means your cost will be $30 for an oe nissan knock sensor. the $40 price is already the best you can find for these sensors and the $10 extra off is just to sweeten thedeal for those who order & review to get the ball rolling.
my impressions of the knock sensor follow. i just replaced my original knock sensor with one of these and it's great. i didn't have a code for the ks but noticed at that it didn't have the pep it once did (she's at 180k now). i'm glad i did for now i can break traction on initial accelertion once again and it seems the gas mileage is better (i haven't run through a full tank of gas yet to confirm how much better yet but it seems like it will probably come out to a couple or few mpg's). i wish i had checked where the timing was with the old knock sensor but didn't think to because i thought that since there was no code for the ks that it wouldn't make a big/any difference. i was wrong, it made a big difference & once i felt the off the line power came back, i checked the timing and am now running at about the 20* btc mark. it feels much peppier and if i get an additional 10%+ on the mpg, that's great.

yeah, i've seen the super cheap knock sensors on ebay but this is a genuine oe nissan sensor as manufactured by delphi with the nissan logo on it, not a cheap chinese copy. switching this sensor out is not so fun; i'd like for the replacement to last as long as the original and not to have to replace again in months or a couple years because i bought a cheap chinese replica part of substandard quality.

I first talked to surban1 about one of these last Wednesday, purchased the same day, part arrived Saturday morning. It is truly an OEM part, in original packaging and well packaged to ship.

Just finished spending the 10 min or so swapping it out this way : http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...-tutorial.html <- I recommend bending the green connector out of the way (not shown but you will know it when you see it) and using a 12mm ratcheting wrench on the KS and hooking another wrench to the open end (more length, more torque, minimizes cuts on the hands)

Looks great, fit perfect, code is gone, myself and my wallet are both happy!

more than three people have already bought and will be posting their reviews soon so the $10 off will not be available any longer. i still have knock sensors to sell though to those who understand the benefit of original equipment genuine nissan parts over cheap chinese parts of suspect quality.

These are definitely OEM knock sensors people. Match exactly same part being removed. If you need an OEM knock sensor, these are the real deal.

Although I cannot vouch for this KS, mine (98 SE) was replaced at 250k (MIL light on).. The car ran so much better, power was back.. Better MPG's. I put a OEM part in, because I didn't want to replace it again!

Go OEM on these people, it's worth it.

My original knock sensor was cracked and in bad shape. Just installed this OEM sensor today and felt that the car got some power back. Sensor was brand new!

Thanks!

i've lowered the price to $35.00 for org members; add $2 if you want it to ship with insurance. this place, by way of the members helpful knowledge and willingness to share it, has saved me a lot of money and kept my car running great. in an effort to give back, i'm lowering the price to $35.00 for these genuine original equipment nissan knock sensors. thanks.

So I've put on about 1500 miles since I posted my review. After the replacement I did happen to notice that mine was cracked so there was the problem. Car is running better than it was for sure and still no KS trouble code. Quality product, even better price! If any of you need to replace yours, jump on this deal!!

hey surban,

Thank you for such an awesome price. Can you confirm that this fits a 99 maxima, and do you know if it's easy to replace?

Thanks,
-Leo

leo38cheng...i pm'd you the payment details so check your private messages.

niteshadex...if you read my postings in this thread, you'll know the difference between these ks'ers and the cheap $7 chinese version. if you think that a "sensor is a sensor", then put the $7 ebay chinese junk on your car and see how long you still think that; i hope you like doing the same repair on your car twice. good luck to you.

Even though they are the same engine, the 99 Cali spec VQ is an absolute nightmare to replace the KS. All the emissions related stuff and the swirl valves etc. Ask me how I know

I mention this because your post suggests that replacing the KS from 95 to 99 is exactly the same.

Someone told me that one of the 4.5 gens has 2 knock sensors. Is that what the cali spec cars have?

The Cali spec 99 Maxima has the same 1 knock sensor in the same exact location as the 95-98. It's just that the same location is buried under emissions related gobbledy gook.

You're only half right. I'm fairly certain the KS on CA spec 99's are further back than other years (100% sure it's further back than 95/96's)

I dont know about the 95/96 but comparing my 98 to my friends 99 they seem to be in the same location......I cant really verify because , unlike my 98, you cant even see the KS on a 99 when the manifold is all put together, so there
