The ECU was bought from a 97 5 speed max and worked in my 95 5 speed max.

It does not, has the stock rev limit

Is the ecu a fed spec or Cali spec? Also will you be able to fine tune with AFC?

It is a fed spec and you will be able to tune with afc.

So the ECU works with a 97 se 5spd? No raised rev limit...will it still help the MEVI?

Also...(noob question), the intake is for vq30 right?

Yes it works with a 97 5 speed, no raised rev limit, I believe it will still help the MEVI. Then intake is for a vq30. Thanks.
