Is the car worth more if I just part it out or sell as whole?

02 SE 6MT with every imaginable feature but navi.. Even has heated steering wheel. Black leather interior.

Runs great but the only drawback is really high mileage which I think will deter buyers.. Its got 340K KMS/ 210K miles.

I doubt I can get more than $2000 for this car.

Headlights alone I can probably get $350-$400 for on the forums and a few hundred bucks on the interior plus other misc items.

What do you guys think?

You could probably get $4K as a whole. I don't think you'd get that much parting it out.

Sell it as is. It would be a good project car for someone wanting to drop a fresh engine into it.

Yeah, thinking about it.. Might be tough to sell because of my location.

Canada... I posted this same thing on a Toronto Maxima board but all those guys already have some nice clean Max's..

I wish I could keep it but I can't afford this expensive Canadian insurance at $355 a month.

If I had to pay that much for car insurance, i'd be riding a scooter!

That's just an insane amount to pay. I'd consider moving.

Tell me about it. If I were back in the states I'd be paying no more than 100 bucks a month for this thing.

Such a scam insurance is here

I've had a license for 7 years here with 0 accidents and have never been pulled over once.

I pay a little under $80 a month for full coverage insurance on my car, plus a few extra's such as uninsured motorist and towing. The only thing I don't have which I should get is rental car coverage, since i'm down to one car now.

lol my first car was a '93 240SX. (slow, not a sports car, did I say, slow?)

I had no tickets and a full licence, 17 years old. Drumroll...... $640.xx a month.

Paid that for a little over a year, that was the absolute cheapest insurance possible.

I got a drop in premiums when I turned 25 and I had a clean driving record. I don't know how you guys north of the border can afford to pay those high prices.
