Aluminum vs stainless steel y pipe

I live in Florida where it never snows, but always rains. I planed on buying the aluminum $225 y pipe from warpspeed but im not sure that this would last me another 10 years on the car. What are the major advantages over the SS one because it is soo much more expensive.

max for t-304 ss is 10-12 years. How long do you really think you will have your car. I went with aluminized. I am in SC so I figure I will get 4 years out of it and by that time my car will be gone.

WSP y-pipe

I live in Minnesota. My 93 Maxima has been here her whole life. 2 summers ago, just before Dallas and I formed WarpSpeedPerformance I had a new b-pipe mandrel bent and replaced my y-pipe with the other brand. Bear in mind that here in MN we have nasty winters with alot of salt on the road. My stock aluminized system was still functioning at 7+ years.
We can sell you a 304SS y-pipe if you want. Personally I would go aluminized and save the extra cash for more mods. Remember our aluminized pipes, and b-pipes come with a 4 year rust through guarentee. NO ONE else offers this.
Hope this helps your decesion.

WSP Y-pipes

Maxilicious you are correct, our main shop is in Rogers, AK. Dallas lives there and I in MN. We do the majority of our work there, but I still manage get my hands dirty quite alot here. Plans for my shop here are under development. We have a big stack of ideas ready to be worked on once we finish off the 5th gen Y-pipes and Subframe connectors for all the Gen of Maximas.Dallas will be finishing up the Stage 2 SFCs shortly.

Try living up here in Ottawa, some days our Max even with stock GXE suspension setup can hardly make it out to the main road since there's so much snow..... When i mod it won't be able to back out the damn driveway

It's still under the Christmas tree. I'm gonna have the shop put it on when my cat-back dual comes. It's got the WSP 4-year rust free warranty. But here in Florida we don't need to worry about rust. All our other stock parts are aluminuzed. I am worry free that this thing will last the life of my car, and then some.

Take advantage of the Florida weather Craig, get the aluminized and save yourself the $!
