I bought this thing from Amazon brand new and I never installed it bc my brother was going to drive my car once a week to keep the battery fresh. I passed the return window so i have no need for it.

basically if you have a car that is in storeage or bike or anything with a battery that does not get used often this device charges your battery when it gets to a certain level and stop when it's full.
