Trunk Lid Wire Harness

Where and how does the wire harness feeding the outer trunk lights (and optional wing) running up the left trunk hinge bracket terminate. Is there a multi-wire adapter that plugs in somewhere that is accessible anywhere?

It looks from the FSM (1997; pg EL-320) that the harness in the trunk lid is a hard-wired part of the overall body harness. It runs down the driver's side of the vehicle all the way up to four big plugs, two conneting to the fuse box and two to another harness, near the firewall.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of, no easy trunk exchange where you just unplug the old one and plug-in the replacement.
