5.5 Transmission Conversion?

Like the title says, is this at all possible to do with a 5.5 gen? I would rather have a manual transmission than the automatic that came with the vehicle. I can get a great deal with a transmission and the original motor, just wondering how much work would be involved aside from the major components.

Thanks for all suggestions.

V/r,
awsgrayrd.

Not going to be a hard as$ this early in the Am on a Friday, BUT, I will lock when I see fit.

OP, take that as a word of advice, and READ the holy hell out of all linked threads in the thread I posted, in so many words, DO NOT ask something that has already been answered in those threads.

Why is the search bar so often overlooked?

Maybe we should make it bigger, add some highlights around it. Frame it with a pair of tig ole bitties?

No...Forums just need to incorporate a search function when a new post is submitted.

Say someone has less than 20 posts...when they submit a new thread during those first 20 posts it automatically takes them to search results instead of actually posting the new thread. User has to read through the search results list for similar topics in order to click submit post.
