Just replaced Shocks and inner outer tie rod components, sway bushings and end links. Went to get an alignment.

Although it's a lot better than before the alignment, the front has caster issues. Rear right has an alignment issue. Car was never in an accident.

My steering wheel bears slightly to the left despite what the printout states at the bottom.

How do I fix the alignment issues?

 

I am thinking I need to replace the bushings on lca's. I think they are so old, that despite being solid, they are asymmetrically worn, basically differently worn on each side of the car.

I hope that'll fix it.

I don't think lca bushings would do any good with your caster. And I don't know of a way to adjust toe on the rear wheels :/

 

Front alignment is fine IMO, I would love to have that much positive caster. Unless the car has some worn bushings causing sloppy handling then replace the bad bushings.

The right rear is toed weird, is the car lowered? You might be able to recenter the beam if your lowered or adjust that offset with those beam links. Check the condition of the rear bushings and before you get aligned again.

 

1. Car is lowered? if so, that causes the caster to go slightly more positive.
2. recenter the rear beam, and it'll fix the 0.03deg the rear is out of spec.
3. look at how far out those things are.. you're talking fractions of a degree. the rear toe is so close to spec that if you dismount and remount the sensors, the numbers will change enough that the car is inside/farther outside specs. those numbers are so tight you can lean on the car and change them to suit.

Car is not lowered. It is stock.

I just got the rear beam bushings in yesterday. I hope they'll fit as they are the ES sentra bushings.

Everything on this car is original so I suspect the bushings are worn unevenly or, like you said, beam is off center because of the bushings. The tie rod end and inner tie rod were both loose and dry. So the ball joints are dry too I am sure. I can't wait to get these things replaced and feel some super tight handling - that will be nice. I'll find out for sure soon enough.
