Stock Engine Swap; Shop Reccomendation in Orlando, FL
I have a 2009 Maxima (3.5VQ) with a blown engine in Northwest Orlando, FL. I need a good shop to do a stock engine install. I have the donor engine, I just need someone to do the install.
Any recs (or places to stay away from) are appreciated!!!

nothing better then swapping out your own engine, that is pretty much how I did my 1st, get a digital camera/cell phone, zip lock baggies, some index cards to write what screws or bolts, the torque specs should be found online, rent an engine hoist and kill a weekend, it looks more complicated then it is
so what happened

so what happened
On another note, what an opportunity to try a VK56DE engine swap... possible... maybe? *nudge nudge*
Edit: Blah, VK is rear wheel drive... I can see that being a prob.

Oil starvation. Not a drop. I never thought the car would run out of oil. Didn't make the correlation between what sounded like a bad fan and the check engine light (yes, I feel like an ***)! Anyway, no leaks. I heard these are the same engines as the 05-06 350z, Which would make it a rev up? Oil starvation issues. I already have a used engine with 7k, so 5.6 and other such upgrades are not in my pic--check my signature (the Max is my 4 door daily driver ). I really need help locating a good shop.
Oil Starvation??? huh..... How does that even happen? These engines shouldn't burn oil like that.. unless you had a slow leak that you didn't notice over time.. sorry to hear this.. wish i could offer you some help

Actually its not the same engine... you are one of very very very small percentage that has starved the engine... the internal of the block and the block itself is different from the Z... the head could be questionable and maybe even worthy of a convo but not the block itself.
For General Mechanic work on everything but my 09, I use Gator off of 429 and Colonial. For my 09 I actually take it to Melbourne. I trust the folks in Melbourne and generally just get lip service from the Nissan Shops in Orl.
its his car but the average person thinks a car last 200k, it does but not when you drive it like you stole it, I saw the same stuff when I worked for BMW.But I have seen the instances where owners came in and you go WTF, where is the oil
