FOR A 1993 MAXIMA WHAT ARE THE GAS MILAGE FOR THEM ! And are they well with gas?

Depends on how you drive really. I average about 15 city and 28-29hwy.

i think if it's well-maintained you can get good mileage on a maxima - maybe 25 on the highway?

I have found on all of my cars if you maintain them (oil, air filter, tire pressure, alignment) and drive very sensibly, the cars will outperform the highway rating from the government listings.

For example, the official listing for the 1992 Maxima with a manual transmission is 24 (new ratings) and it was 26 on the old ratings. I routinely would get 28-29 on the freeway. After some modifications and using non-ethanol gas, I can exceed 30 mpg on long freeway trips.

The VG is pretty damn good on the highway in terms of fuel consumption.
