Nope, but totally tempting only because I've been down this road before with prior cars. I must be getting old I guess.
I didn't purchase this car to spend a lot on modifications.
This car stands out for what is. I don't need to beat down any other car on the road. My (flagship) Nissan is still being compared to Infinity's, Acura's, and all the other higher end cars and I still get the WTF car is that from that same crowd?
This is all I need.

Whatever you did to your car I respect it! I don't think anything on your car is too much but what I don't like is the LED's by fog light's... everything else I like!

 

Ghozt's car is my favorite silver 7th gen. I've seen a bunch on here and Facebook which are nicely done also but his appeals to me more. I'm guilty of doing way more too but it's awesome when people stare at our modded Maximas. At a gas station a few months ago, one guy thought my car was a Mercedes CLS I wish.....

Yours is my favorite because I'm one of those rare buyers who prefers the Tuscan Red exterior. The dealer only had one Altima in that color on the lot, and it did not pop like yours does. Ghosts car is a close second.

What wheels does Ghost have? I'm still debating if dark wheels would look good on a white car or not.

i did a few mods but this time around, i said to myself im not going crazy on mods in any more cars..
One of my cars i spent $20k in mods, and now im looking to sell it for just $13k cause it mostly sits in my garage , i learned my lesson w modding cars.

I am calling bull**** on your 20k invested comment. I am on the 3800 forums all the time. I know what it takes to make them fast and I know what fast 3800s look like.

Your car...it's riced the F out bro. Altezza taillights? Did you pick up the autozone pr package or something? Pepboy's american chrome 17s? Painted headlights when they are reflectors not projectors(less light output)? I will bet money you put HIDs in your non HID reflector housings.

Unless you have time slips & dynos I think you should be quiet about smoking any maxima. It makes you look like a tool, big time man. Why even make a ridiculous comment like that? Post a slip and dyno I know you will not but this is fun.

I know a 4 door NA maxima that will probably smoke your supercharged 3.8l 2 door.

It's super hard to get a 3800 above 400whp. In a maxima it is rather easy with a single power adder as the block can handle 450 stock. I'v seen modded NA 3.5l put out more HP than modded SC 3800s.

I would love to know how you spent 20k on that car. You can get a fully built block, head, and tranny from intense for 10k. Unless they ripped you off at autozone or you are counting the million transmission you went through because they are made of glass I think your accounting skills are lacking.

tl:dr post slips and dynos or go home. If you spent 20k you got ripped off.

I'm not exactly sure how 20k was spent on that car either but I'll leave that much alone. I think some people like to brag about the amount they spent while others brag about the deals they get. I'm sure it's possible to have dropped 20k on that car, just the question is what did you get for 20k, and what did that do to the car in the end in terms of fuel efficiency/power/long term damage/etc.

Ghozt I really like your ride because nothing is over done, and you can tell everything you have done you have put a lot of thought into. It probably rides really well. It obviously looks really good. and I can imagine everything you have done will last a long time.

To me most of your mods (besides opinion based visual only mods) are mods every 7th gen should have.

In short you have a very well balanced ride. Great work.

U can say all u want about the billet flame grill and altezza tails but both were made for the car. The altezza since ur blind are painted to match car. And not spray painted like u would do. Professional painted like everything on the car by my friends who runs a body shop
And I'm sure u must think the hood cost $100 not $1500 painted prepped and installed. And I'm sure the custom interior was free also at $1000
I could go on and on about how it adds up in cost but u obviously don't kno the meaning of a dollar.

Btw idiot. I have a friends who is a transmission specialist and Upgraded my tranny. So no need to waste 5k for an intense trans and the 465 trans is very reliable with mods. Research ur crap before opening ur mouth w no knowledge !!
The Pontiac is a 98" the first car I modded and at the time it was one of the best cars out with many options to mod now there are mods for any car and it was originally done for Shows then did performance.

Only people putting up high HP numbers are with snails with 3800s. Which you do not have unless it connects to your mysterious downpipe and you are twin charged(which you aren't). Your car doesn't have a downpipe bro. Only turbos have downpipes. I don't care what you or your friends want to call it. It isn't a downpipe.

I used to hangout with 3800 guys I know exactly what the engines are and are not capable of. Your block isn't built, no cams, nothing. You have mild mods for the most part when it comes to the engine and what others are doing in your community. I really wouldn't brag about bolt ons which you have for the most part...I would guess with a 3.25 pulley no KR you would run mid 13s, low 13s at best on slicks? A 3.5l NA maxima can blow those numbers out of the water without a built engine, just intake, cam, exhaust, no power adder like a SC or Snail.

i still get great fuel mileage when i drive it.. the car only has 33,000 miles on it being a 1998, i gained a ton of hp and torque, considering stock the car was 240hp and at the time that was great for hp on a stock car..

all the mods were done professional with mechanic friends and nothing that would do any damage to the engine or trans..the car was tuned to the mods done and all scans on engine were perfect.

the post was about to much spent on mods and going to far..im sure you have spent thousands on the MAX by now also if u added it all up...

You hit the nail on the head used to hang out with guys from 3800, problem was u became too much of a Mr. know it all and no one wanted you around anymore just like on this forum. I suggest taking any other comments to a new board where people will soon dislike you there also.
If you dont own a Maxima why are u even on this board?, maybe your just envious of us all who do....and if u have a Maxima-race me and ill prove i can smoke your maxima. BTW its all about $$ modding a car, i could cam the gtp, turbo it or ship it to ZZP and build an engine etc and waste more $$ but thats not what i want to do.So save the stupid bolt on bs for some less knowledgeable person. I have not done any mods to my Gtp in about 5-6 years. And i ran low low 13 on 18" rims, slicks would of been better and especially if i could of learned to get a better 60ft time out of the start. Im not about to list all the modifications done to justify your needs.
These 7th Gens can not produce 400 hp btw. The Cvt will not support the hp. Good luck with that theory.

Side note, that Grand Prix is god awful. It's already a douche move to state how much you spent modifying it as if we should be impressed, but then it looks like that,... and defending it with that spelling and grammar... It's a lose-lose situation.
