Has anyone adjust their brake pedal before?

I believe this is how it works. The brake pedal is attached to the brake booster. There is a nut on the brake pedal that you can adjust so more of the plunger on the brake booster goes into the master cylinder. The adjustement is only about 1" more. There is a diagram in the FSM that state what all the specs should be for the range of motion of the brake pedal. ie. free play, distance from the floorboard when no force is apply, distance from the floor board when you apply X amount of force. I would love adjust everything to factory spec since the brake booster and the master cylinder were replaced. The problem is...how they heck can I apply exact 100lbs of force to the brake pedal? I basically have to do it by feel.

Put a bathroom scale between the brake pedal and your foot.
