4 gauge or 0/1 gauge

4 gauge or 0/1 gauge

i have question, i am going to put two older kenwood amps (600 peak each) into my car and was running should i run 4 or 0/1 gauge. i had 4 in my old max and did run into so alternator problems. is it worth it?

Without knowing the install and the distance the Amp is from the battery, here is an application chart to find the appropriate gauge wire for a given run.
