Why oh why didnt I do this sooner? Cant wait to finish it off with WSP's b-pipe when it comes out. The WSP Y is a great product.

Your cattman should be on your car. Its like sex, its better to FEEL than to look at.

Well, bottom end is lost slightly. I dont spin tires as easily but thats a good thing. Under WOT, it pulls much harder all the way to the top. On the highway, I can pass without downshifting, and if I do downshift, it takes off like a rocket. It pulls much harder that before.....

But Sprintmax said low end wouldn't be lost!! Are you SURE you felt more sluggish off the line ? Spiritmax doesn't seem to agree

And look at what He says abot watching compaired to doing? Cant listen toeverything he says! LOL Its only slightly, and yes I am sure. Biggest way to tell is to see how it spins the tires less than before....but only slightly

I put on my Y pipe like a year after my CAI. I did not notice a loss in low end, maybe a little gain if anything. Below 3000 rpm, it felt like I hadn't changed a thing. But once I topped out past 3rd gear, I NOTICED. 4th and 5th gear as well. Top end REALLY improved.

Maybe its different for auto?

doof.. learn to listen.. i never said low end was lost.. i said the gain in high end is greater than low end

meaning you probably get 3 hp on low end.. and 8 on high end..

speaking of.. i had an argument with these two girls recently about love making... men and women..

my point was.. ok.. you ever took a train before? you know.. they say.. it takes 10 mins from point A to point B.. why would you then get mad if the train gets there on time..

i mean.. you know the brotha is going to *** quick.. so why get mad when it happens?

Does putting on a bigger air filter really make a difference in HP?

I have the WSP Y, and I lost a little bit on low-end...but only slightly...barely enough to feel it...maybe 3hp?

But it FEELS like I gainedl ike 15hp in the powerband....

Ate a stock Max for breakfast this morning on the freeway...then we pulled into a lot (we were both taking the same exit anyway), and talked about our cars.

I think Dan just got another Y-Pipe Customer, and the forum got another member!

well i felt much gain in low end with CAI, and signif loss in high end with the CAI, thats why if u get y after CAI u wont feel lost in low end, and u will compliment it nicely with recovery in high end, thats what ive felt, learned, and i hope its true cuz y pipe should be here next week and im hoping it gives me that high end back, or ill craft myself up a homemade variable intake

Same here. <3k rpm, no change, but after, you can feel a nice surge. Very noticeable in all gears. Definitely makes you smile to feel it...

Nice. Maybe if I do go CAI one day nice to know there will still be some gains to be felt.

Foo, I said "Sprintmax said their wouldn't be any LOW-end loss"

And I would like to varify this with someone like medic who has a similer setup to me and is a '95 AUTO, becuase auto's tend to lose low end with the pop, y-pipe, catback, ect ect
