Ok, I know this has jsut about been beat to death, and I know there are a few pre-made options out there. I'm ready to get rid of all that crazy curly-q line between my clutch MC and SC. I've seen the pre-made options out there, but I don't know if I really trust them, plus I'm a tad hard head and would rather just make my own line if I can. So, can anyone confirm that I have the right fittings here for the MC connection and the SC connection?

I'm pretty darn sure that 10mm banjo is the right thing for the SC. But I haven't been able to find any good info on that 10mm inverse flare for the MC. If someone can confirm I've got the right fittings that'd be great. If these aren't right, does anyone have definitive info on what fittings are needed? All I've seen for the MC side is -3AN, most brake stuff I know of uses inverse flare and I've seen that referred to as -3AN as well as std flare fittings referred to as -3AN. And with these cars being Japanese the -3 size doesn't make sense to me, 10mm does.

I like the idea of rebuildable. I've heard of eBay pieces going bad and leaking. To replace the hose and reuse your aeroquip (earls) fittings would be nice.

 

Got mine off ebay from a seller called rtfperformance118. Only $42 and fairly easy to install. Works great so far. Its not worth my time to make one when i can buy that cheap. I have a friend like you that always wants to make his own stuff and if thats what you want to do go for it. Either way its a good modification to make. I went from hating my clutch to loving it. I saw the RaceTechPerformance offering and I had been quite interested for the advertised $40 shipped. When I went to their website and tried to order it was throwing on $16 for shipping. I e-mailed them to see if the deal including shipping is still valid. If it is, that is probably the way to go, buying fitting and line will run me close to that price anyway. However, in case this route doesn't work out I'd still like to know if I have the right fitting sizes. I guess the best way would be to pull the lines off the car and match them up at a local shop, but that means the car has to be down and I'd like to avoid that if someone here already knows the fitting sizes. Well, FTP got back to me. If you just order on their website they add a shipping charge, $16 for me. By contacting them they still do the line for $40 shipped. Definitely easier than building myself. Thanks for all the replies.

 

No problem. Install was cake and it worked perfectly. Only advice I have is get a hand saw and snips. I had to cut the old lines into pieces to get them out.
