hi guys...been looking thru the threads but couldnt find an answer... my 89 maxima gas door is not working correctly...i can release the door to open but the pin doesnt return to catch the door...i took the pin out and cant figure how it works...the cable is working with the latch...anyone change the pin or steer me to find a replacement... thanks, jeff

 

I've had the same issue - though only during REALLY cold weather.....warm weather and no probs.

 

yeah mine too...a couple of good bumps and the pin releases..i cant even find the part to view....

 

Spray a shot of tuner control spray up in there. You can find it at Radio Shack. If you don't want to spend $6, go to the kitchen and grab some Pam.
