Buying 4th gen engine
Does anybody have a 4th gen maxima engine with under 25,000 miles for sale? i live in NY

Good luck....25K on an engine that is at least 13 years old? That's less than 2k a YEAR.

lol...25k, not gonna happen...why not just look for a DEK or 3.5? 75k and under for those motors should be easy to find.

dek is the VQ30DE-K, the 3.0 engine used in the 00 and 01 Maxima. Variable intake, among other changes.

Look around, there's tons of info on dropping a DE-K or even a VQ35 into your 4th gen.
