Help! anyone with wiring diagrams...
Help! anyone with wiring diagrams...
Hey, I just put a 2000 drivers side front door on my 2003, everything was identical... except for the window motor plug:
2003:
thick blue
thick green
green/red
white/black
green/white
green/yellow
2000:
black
red
yellow/red
pink
green/yellow
blue/black
orangish/tan
I need to retain the 6wire plug and convert the 7 wires to my 6.... any help? I searched here for diagrams... which I found... but no keys to numbering on the plugs for colors....
thanks in advance.

Ummmmm......
Your 2003 window regulator wiring looks correct.
The 2000 wiring doesn't match anything I see. The 2000/2003 motor should match up plug for plug. How about some pictures of what you're looking at?
Here's the 2003...which matches the wires you have listed.

And here is the 2000. Which doesn't match what you have listed...

The switches in the door are different because of the BCM and auto window down functions. Originally the 2000 & 2001 used one motor (# 80730-2Y900) and the 2002 & 2003 used another (# 80731-2Y900). But Nissan has superseded both of those numbers with just one (# 80731-2Y90A). I don't think you can change wires around and get it to work.

thanks...
I was going to swap the harness from the OEM door, but someone drove by and nabbed the door lying on the ground next to the car while I was inside getting a sandwich (but didn't grab the tools laying everywhere, guess they thought it was ready for scrap)...
Just got back from boneyard getting a harness.
Now if I can figure out how to swap in 2001 I30 seats....

follow up...
even after getting an harness from a 2003 still have no window functions... up or down, no power lock release either. I'm not electrically inclined, so this is driving me nuts. The door panel courtesy light works, as does trunk release, gas door, and outside mirrors. But no windows. I even got a replacement switch unit from a BY and no luck.
So, I need some simple help. Can someone tell me EXACTLY how to jump the wires to get the window motor, any motor, down some. Cant get car inspected as is. Please though, dont say jump matching wires and reverse polarity, that doesn't help me. Please say something like connect blue and green wire and send power thru them. I'm dumb. thanks....

Swap out the window regulator and the lockimg mechanism. Take the ones from the old 2003 door and replace them with the ones on the 01 door. It isnt that difficult. In fact a lot easier than splicing and cutting all those wires.
I did the same thing. I have an 03 but the 02 door I put on had incompatible motor and lock.
