i own a 2k2 maxima se, a few months back I cleaned the maf and performed a idle reset, both procedures were done using instructions I found on this site. Ever since I did the idle reset when the car is not at operating temperature it starts just fine. However if the car is at operating temperature and I turn it off when I go to start it again it will start then turn off immediately. After another one or two key turns it stays on. It seems like since the idle is so low it just turns off compared to when I start the car cold the idle is high. How would I fix this issue.

 

If there are no check engine lights on and you have over 100K, start by having your local Nissan dealer do a throttle body clean, or you do the throttle body clean, and then do the idle reset pedal dance.
