00vi parts

Ive been reading the different threads about this swap and I think I'm going to do it next year, going to save up and buy parts a couple at a time throughout the year. Mostly saving up for the tune. My main questions is can the parts for this be trusted from a junkyard or would it be better to buy them from a parts store?

Get the AEM FIC to tune the OOVI. About perfect for it and not super expensive as far as tuning goes because most tuners are very familiar with it. Then get a S/C......then get bigger injectors....then....then....

I work at autozone and we cant get the manifolds or fuel rail. The injectors are $80, and the iacv is $220.. I can get these from the local picknpull for far less. My question is can you trust the junkyard parts. I already searched and nothing answerd my question.

This is a common sense issue, not search.

Can you trust the junkyard parts, such as fuel injectors? Why not? Chances are extremely high that the car wound up in the junk yard NOT because of them.
Can you trust the junkyard parts, such as the intake manifold? Why not? Rinse and repeat.
Can you trust the junkyard parts, such as the fuel rail? Why not? Again, what is the chance a fuel rail is damaged?

Yes. you can get a whole 2000-01 motor for ~$300. Then take what you need. The other option is to look in the classifieds, cause there are a couple for sale right now.
