BMW Wheel fitment
19" Rays are the farthest thing from VIP. They're lightweight sports rims designed to be just that.
OP, I wouldn't buy a set of BMW rims. By the time you pay for the rims, 5x120:5x114.3 adapters, and rubber, I bet you'll be well into the $4-5000 price range. You're much, MUCH better off going aftermarket and finding a multi-spoke replica wheel that comes in the 5x114.3 pattern.
Also, I don't think BMW wheels look too awful bad on a Nissan:
mr brett u put those rays and a drop on a max and everyone u pass by will be see how hot it looks vip lol no **** they are light weight best look for max in my op
go look that up lol before u make another comment lol

Cars associated with VIP style usually have common characteristics, such as high end wheels with excessive amounts of dish. (usually broad faced designs) with low offsets that sit flush with the fender, exhausts that stick out past the rear bumper (although not so much emphasized these days), a full bodykit or lip kit, glossy paint and a lowered ride height. It is not uncommon to see extremely negative camber on many VIP style cars. Traditional colors of VIP Style cars are usually black, white, grey and silver.
This is VIP Maxima

Notice the rims...deep dish.
That being said..VIP with a Maxima is a hard look to pull off...it's the larger cars that do it better. LIke the Infiniti M and Q sedans.

But you're right that those Rays looks incredible on maximas.
)? Factory G Rays are 19x8.5 +30 and 19x9.5 +33, and weigh about 19 and 21 pounds respectively. What's your point? Those are hardly "VIP" specs.Sure they look good, and I'm glad you're proud of your Rays, but don't be making excuses to ***** up the thread with pictures of your average Maxima.

I know how to google image search VIP to try and make it look like I knew what I was talking about all along.
These morons will never realize how smart I am.

Seriously, can a mod just pass me the bann hammer for 1 day? I'll be 'that guy'
On my end, I rebuttal and provide a counter-argument, a statement of my beliefs that I backed up with data and knowledge from research.
So, therefore, yes. There was, in fact, an argument.
And I can safely say that I am not a "hater," because I plan to purchase a set of STOCK Rays for my G.
Specifics
Maybe I was a bit vague in my post. These were what I was referring to:

, not the boring base model 7 series rims. Imo, the 5th gen has the ability to pull off the VIP styling (to an extent), though it would be a bit more difficult to accomplish. I would go with something along the lines of VIP styling, not to the full extent on the 5th gen because I was told that our "camber" (I believe it was) could not house such large wheels. I'm not a fan of huge wheels, just looks stupid on our car, and takes away from performance.
I have never really seen a 5th gen customized in such a manner, and I figured that it would be a different take on customizing the vehicle. Believe it or not, a lot of orgers who have customized their 5th gen has some cues from VIP styling whether they want to accept it or not. I would never go full VIP because I'm too "spirited" of a driver.

yeah...that's it.
Anyway, back to the OP: There have been BMW style wheels on Maximas, and they can look really good...but mainly the 7th gen. Especially if one goes for the true VIP look...the 5th gen is not really the right platform to use. BIG sedans like the 7th however...can and look good.

i like those! i dont know what color your max is and IMO those would look good on a lowered max with a lip kit, i dont think they would suit a stock max. so it depends on what your ride looks like really.
I totally agree. I like the AE body kit because it's sharper than the Stillen. I prefer sharper, over rounded body any day. If one was to decide to place these wheels on, I would hope that they have the class to place them on a modded max. My max is being restored to its original goodness, then the heavy modding will come into play.
