How you like me now!

hey guys whatup? since i bought my 03 6 spd maxima in august all you guys be making fun of my body kit made me cry lol jk i didnt like it either! and i finally got my stock bumper fogs and grill actually picked it up from a fellow orger MAXIMUS PIC he a new member but cool as hell. and now that my maxima passed inspection finally thanks to the non-fouler trick i been driving it all over the place. now just for that stillen lip kit and im ready to go. nobody laughin at me now my next plans is a new ground cause mine is booty as hell right now, rip out my 3 8" subs my 3 amps all the wiring and just go back to a normal 200-300 dollar setup so i can reduce weight plus the heavy sound system has such a parasitic drain on my brand new optima red top that i just bought few month ago lol , then spacers, possible torque link, poly eurethane motormounts, 6 new oem coils and more maintenance it drives perfect i just feel like fixing **** that may be going in the future. btw i have 80k miles

Good move on going back to the stock bumper. Sell your old bumper now. Somebody with bad taste will definitely buy it.

I am glad you took the opinion of idiots on the internet instead of your own regarding the bodykit. You should just install the stillen kit like everyone else on the forum and be another sheep. We need more of you.

Oh and optima's suck...and paint your hood.

Get rid of eyelids or hood, CF hoods don't work with eyelids because there's 2 differnet colours, you can't paint the eyelids either body colour or CF becuase neither will match.

If you get rid of the hood paint eyelids body colour.

I'd also get rid of the hood but whatever.

AND please get rid of the unnecessary gauge A pillar, that looks ridiculous. It's one thing if the car is boosted, but otherwise it just looks ricy.

tunermax yea im not really feeling the hood but i dont know if i feel like spending mad money on a new hood cause im only 19 and on a budget i did the eyelids for fun but i started liking them a little and the boost guages is sorta cool but not at the same time cause im not boosted i think the original owner use to have the maxima boosted but took it off when i was buying the car i saw alot of maxima parts and i believe they were turbo parts.

People are gonna hate on cars that look like that on Maxima.org, doesn't matter the circumstance
But you're doing the right thing dude, kudos. Just keep up the good work.

FYI: Any junkyard will have a stock 2000-2003 Maxima hood you can purchase for a very low price. Keep shopping around and you'll find one that is even your colour, I'm sure.

That, or find someone that wants to buy it/trade for a stock hood, I'm sure some dummy would love that hood and be more than willing to swap straight up, or even pay you money.

that is a stillen kit.
It's... meh. the front lip is nice but the rest is not the greatest.

AE lip kit is the best, for sure.

And this is comign from someone who has a full stillen kit.

Sorry to post this on this thread-
Right now i own a 4th gen maxima and looking to get a 5th gen. I found an 02 6 speed that has 221000 miles on it, one of the rims is cracked, and there is some play in the clutch but nothing serious. The guy is asking $3200 for it and right now we are negotiating and he is down to $2500. The car does have some wear and tear on it but it nothing terrible. Is $2500 a good price for a 5th gen 6 speed with that many miles?
