Getting a stuck PIN out of a harness connector

I have a situation where there's a stuck PIN in the TCU and the ECM wiring harnesses. I have the TCU harness connector end loosened (the white block on the plastic connector is raised), but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to unlock the wire from the connector so that it will slide out of the back of the connector so I can pull the broken TCU pin out of the wire female end slot.

Is there any technique I am missing here that would apply to the TCU and ECM harness connector to "gracefully" get the wire(s) out?

FYI - This is all that stands between me trying to crank the car and if it doesn't work, I will throw in the towel on getting her running again.

Anybody?

Done it a million times. What you need is a needle to bend the clip and free the pin or terminal connector so you can pull it out. The location of the clip varies depending on the type of connector.
