That looks like a wire for a aftermarket amp.....I'm guessing you don't have an system in your Maxima because you would of guessed that...Maybe someone started installing a amp & never finished

 

He said connector not wire...the connector is factory....

 

My thoughts would be that if you have manual climate control that connector is proy for the resistor on a digital climate control... i could be wrong but thats what it looks like to me

i got the digital climaite control. but its to short to go anywere. it seems like its for something that plugs in right there and stays in that area? maybe like for tuning? or for the horsepower chips they sell online.?
