Thumbs up Came full circle back to a sedan

My first love was a 4th gen Maxima, since then I have been a geek for dual purpose machines that offered luxury and speed. I had a 2002 Maxima that was awesome also but held onto the 4th gen longer, almost cried when I traded her in

Sold my 2003 M3 to get one of these and had to have it in white. There were 4 in the nation that were white with the P31 package and all 4 got bought out from under me. Got this one while it was still in Germany

2013 P31 C63 AMG

- P31 AMG Development Package (Gives the C63 AMG's handbuilt 6.2 liter V8 the pistons, rods, and crank from the SLS supercar, better brakes (red) and carbon fiber spoiler as well as a more aggressive tune.) Sounds ridiculous

- Two tone red/black Nappa Leather with carbon fiber trim

- Lighted AMG door sills, Xenon headlights with daytime LED's, backup camera, and silly stuff like lane tracking, park assist and blind spot monitoring

I have wanted an AMG for a long time and when I started one of these up in Dallas and sat in the ridiculously bolstered seats I knew this was my car. It's completely impractical and unnecessary just like the Jeep and that's what I love about it Fresh off the German Uboat at the dealer

She's home. It pulls ridiculously, could not stop laughing the first time I ran it through the gears

Vette is a friend of mines who lent it to me for my wife to drive while we waited on this car...but she couldn't reach the pedals with the custom racing seats so just detailed it for him and am letting it sit ha ha

Mustang is getting a YSI, bigger intercooler and 03 Cobra front bumper, hood and side skirts but will be home again someday

Cannot tell you how much I love being back in a sedan, really reminds me of the feeling I had with my first love 4th gen Maxima

Thanks, the garage was a dream come true. Built it purely for detailing which is one of my main hobbies. I try to detail all the cars every week, the maxima started that obsession and trend and would get detailed every week. I did my first 10 hour paint correction by hand on it lol. Stayed up all night and loved every second of it in that little garage.

I still have a soft spot for the VQ motors, such awesome torquey monsters that are perfect for getting around town.

A friend of mine gives me a discount on rental cars so I use those when ever we go out of town. You would have thought I had gotten a lamborghini when I found out that I was getting a 7th gen max to take to new mexico. I was beyond excited about driving it but it was quickly ruined by the CVT transmission Just seemed like all that wonderful torque and pedal response was choked by the transmission. Still loved being back in a Maxima though. I still have my old insurance cards with vin number so I can look up my 4th gen and put a turbo in it someday, so many memories in that car it's silly.

how much did this set you back? lol

I sold it to a local member after losing my last Nissan but I just happen to find it online one day, was the pride of my first garage. I was more excited getting that single car bay than I was my current one, just a different time and feeling I guess (I can't say how much I love my current one though.)

I really want a GTR not only because they are incredible but because my first love is Nissan, I talk to every Maxima or VQ owner I come across that's an enthusiast, really love the brand. If I do I'm hoping to track down a Nissan Racing banner so send me a PM if you find one

Thanks all for the compliments

So tell me what happened to your income/career from when you bought the 4th gen to now? It was something dramatic!

Sorry but that dual garage door spot that the vette is parked in amazes me more than the c63. Lol. What does the one in front of the car lead to?

Damn dude. Talk about dream car garage

It's also nice to see how the Maxima, especially the 4th gen, can still garner respect even standing with all those other e-x-t-r-e-m-e machines.
