I have a short question. will 97-99 front lip fit on 95-96 maxima?

short answer, no.

long answer, yes...with a bit of work. Do a search on 95-96 to 97-99 front bumper conversions. switch the headlights, grill, and front bumper, then you can have a 97-99 front lip.

oo. I thought the shape of the inner part from the lips is the same
with 95-96 model, so you could just stick 97 lip on 96 bumper.

if u REALLY want it to fit then yeah it's possible...have the body shop modify the thing to fit....but to make life easier either get the right lip for the right bumper or convert ur bumper to a 97-99 and grill...

 

ya the 95-96 is basically flat across the bottom whereas the 97-99 have lower pieces below the fog light holes kinda like this if it works:
